Here I want to tell how and why the auto from the picture has been created.
This is the first self-made car, built by my father:
So, the reasons for this deed are:
Firstly, while the first car was being built, the requirements towards the self-made cars changed to the better. Now it was allowed to use a slightly more powerful engine, the maximal dimensions, weight and other parameters also grew.
Secondly, the previous car, transfigured from a moto-wheelchair, did not meet the requirements of road safety, comfort and capacity. It is enough to mention that the braking system had the mechanical drive – and only to the rear wheels.
Thirdly, our family enlarged a bit thanks to the newborn son and it was obvious that in some years the two-seater car would not seat our family.
